COVID - 19 PRACTICES
Dear valued clients,

At Care Assurance Aging Solutions, we understand the importance of ensuring the safety and health of our clients and staff during these challenging times.
As such, we have implemented the following COVID-19 policy for in-home case management client visits, in accordance with the current guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Prior to any in-home visits, all staff members will undergo daily screening for COVID-19 symptoms, including fever, cough, shortness of breath, and loss of taste or smell. Staff members who exhibit any of these symptoms will be required to stay home and seek medical attention.

Staff members will wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including masks and gloves, during all in-home visits. We encourage our clients to also wear masks and practice social distancing during visits.

We strongly encourage the use of telehealth and video conferencing for all non-essential visits. We utilize HIPAA compliant video conferencing software to ensure the privacy and security of our clients' personal health information.

If an in-home visit is necessary, our staff will practice frequent hand hygiene and disinfect any high-touch surfaces before and after the visit.

We ask that clients notify us immediately if they have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or if they are experiencing any symptoms of the virus. In such cases, we may need to postpone in-home visits and utilize telehealth options instead.

We also ask that clients inform us of any changes in their health status or living conditions, such as hospitalizations, positive COVID-19 tests, or changes in household members.
